Ok, i dont know that there is a name for this, or if it can be done. i tend to write rather lenghty rants at time and then post a poem in the same entry. is there anyway that i can put a line at the beginning of the entry such as to just read poem click here... and it go to the poem in question?

actually just leave in page anchors.
Find the place where you want the page to be moved to, such as the beginning of the poem.
Check the "edit html button" and add a certain

<a name="poem"></a>

before the poem. Then, find a place where you want to add the link to the poem and use

<a href="#poem">Poem</a>

while keeping the "edit html box checked.

just make sure the poem and the link are on the same page
