generic network failure.., internet connections Options

i cannnot download updates from all antivirus. i'm asked to check the internet connections. moreover, something like 'generic network failure' occurs. the wrong code is '28'.
can anyone help me?

if you got code 28 this is what a microsoft code 28 is

This code means the device was not installed completely.

so what i would do is go into control panel then system then hardware then device manager and see if you have anything wrong with what then label them back on here :)
