Most people obviously know that Santa Claus doesn't exist, but most parents lie to young children every year that Santa Claus exists and stuff like that, and on Christmas day, the gifts "are mysteriously under the Christmas tree" and the parents say Santa Claus gave it to them (when the parents really know he didn't).
Should parents keep lying to them or not? |

the parents shouldn't lie about santa claus, i never believed in santa claus because my parents never really acted out that tradition or whatever, sure the kids will be happy then but what about when you have to break it to them? you'll lose their trust and they'll throw temper tantrums
what kind of message is being sent? parents tell their kids not to lie, yet the parents can lie? |
