I find it important enough to post a thread that is related to another topic.

It seems that there is someone that is spreading the word that marijuana is not addictive. Please understand, it IS ADDICTIVE.

I strongly advise you to NOT take illegal drugs. They do NOT help you in your long term life.

DO NOT take illegal drugs. If someone tells you that the drug is easily controlled, it can be true for ALL illegal drugs. Easily controlled DOES NOT mean not addictive! Please remember this difference!

Sorry to preach, but I thought this needed to be said, lest some 11 y/o on cB reads in here that marijuana is not addictive.

yeah, thats what ive been thinking this whole time
imo cigarettes and alcohol are more dangerous than marijuana, though marijuana does have its side effects after excessive use.

Marijuana use also has the potential to promote cancer of the lungs and other parts of the respiratory tract because it contains irritants and carcinogens(12, 13). In fact, marijuana smoke contains 50 to 70 percent more carcinogenic hydrocarbons than does tobacco smoke(14).
