Anyone else supporting aids by buying the braclets on www.until.org? I absolutly love the braclts and am so happy they made them for AIDs. They are a lot better than then LIVESTRONG and Breat Cancer Braclets, in my opinion.
The jelly braclets come in assorted colors and are $10 each. A little pricey, but hey, it's for a good cause. They look really cute too. I loved them so much I got 3. Pink, clear, and charcoal. In the magazine I found out about the braclets in, Hilary Duff, along with her sister, were advertising them. All my friends were like ewww Hilary Duff! Whya re you wearing them? And I was like, "Hey! I like the braclets for the cause, not whose advertising them!" What they didn't know what Hilary Duff isn't the only one advertising, so is Mandy Moore, Alan Cummin, Tiffani Thiessen, Barry Bonds, Rosie Perez, Chris Beckman, Anastacia, Kevin Bacon, Evelyn Cisneros, Giants, The Rock, Amerie, Barbara Boxer, Tony Hawk, Destiny's Child, and Emme. ![]() Just thought I would share with everyone ![]() Will AIDs Braclets be the new trend? |

QUOTE(DittotoAnne18 @ Jan 11 2005, 7:36 PM) Where do you get the tsunami ones? We were in English today and my teacher gave us a sonnet that they thought heavily related to it. She said it was written 100 years ago. If anyones interested in reading it: Once by the Pacific The shattered water made a misty din. Great waves looked over others coming in, And thought of doing something to the shore That water never did to land before. The clouds were low and hairy in the skies, Like locks blown foward in the gleam of eyes. You could not tell, and yet it looked as if The shore was lucky in being backed by cliff, The cliff in being back by continent; It looked as if a night of dark intent Was coming, and not only a night, an age. Somone had better be prepared for rage. There wuold be more than ocean-water broken Before God's last Put out the Light was spoken. - Robert Frost |
