At our school we are separated by boys and girls in the courtyard in the mornings and by tables at lunch. This gives us no time to converse with our guy friends. The separation for lunch has gone on for years. But the 30 minutes in the courtyard that we get has just recently happened [january 5th] and protests have started, parents are screaming, mosh pits and riots have also began.
I was wondering if you agree with this. AND. how to properly protest, without getting suspended like other students have. Our school was put on the news and internet. click |

That. Is. Stupid.
My school was planning on getting separate gender classes. But then they realized it wouldn't work that well due to the girls and the guys are already used to the old system, and plus alot of the teachers objected too. Gender separation is so.. It's not how things should be. What does the principal expect the students to do anyhow? Either we're too innocent or her imagination is wild. A petition doesn't always work, especially if you're going to sumit it to the teachers and the principal. Take it up to the school board. Boycott school if parents really disagree that much too. It's unfair to do that. Stupid idea. |
