yeeeah i really need some more RAM and I heard you needed like a special slot thing if you want to buy some RAM and how exactly does this work!?
(The website where it shows info/products, etc for my computer was no help and i currently have lost my computer manual. Do i really need it? Someone said i should, but i'm not sure |

Find a ram with FSB at or higher than your CPU FSB. You should probably get DDR too. 512 should be fine, though if you have some extra cash to blow get 1gb. PC3200 at 400MHz is the general standard.

You've obviously never played any good games or done any video editing have you? Why do you think there are servers that support up to 16GB of ram, yea, that's along with quad processors. If we could never use beyond 1ghz of our processor why do you think companies would even be wasting money on say a 3.8ghz P4 or the AMD fx-55? |
