I was reading a US magazine and I came across a story about Justin Timberlake and Cameron Diaz.

Apparently, when Cam and Justin were getting their candid photos taken outside the Chateau Marmont in Hollywood (paparazzi, people) Cam got sick of it and attacked the two men, leaving them BOTH bleeding on the ground. Justin stood back and started taunting them. (Big man )


You know, you always see Cameron Diaz acting all sweet and dumb, like in Charlie's Angels or something, but I guess movie stars aren't what they act, right?

Oh well. I just thought this was a funny story.

oh please, all she probably did was just scratch them with her nails, shove them, they fell, and justin was probably like "ha ha" people make small things seem so huge...(that's my version, i don't know the actual story)

even if the paparazzi is annoying and evil ( i saw the movie ) you can't act upon your anger, they're probably going to file a huge lawsuit and get a few thousand dollars, if celebrities are really so outraged, they should try to make a law to stop the paparazzi from taking photos of them without their permission

Cameron and Justin in scuffle with paparazzi

Cameron Diaz and Justin Timberlake are under investigation following a confrontation with a group of photographers.

Police are looking into a complaint by a photographer who accuses Diaz and Timberlake of grand theft and battery, Officer Eduardo Funes of the Los Angeles Police Department said.

"A crime report was taken. An investigation is underway," Funes said.

Us Weekly magazine is due to publish six photos purchased from the Saul Lazo and Jose Gonzalez's photo agency of their evening with Diaz and Timberlake outside Hollywood's Chateau Marmont hotel.

The pictures range from Diaz and Timberlake in smiling, hand-holding mode, to Diaz engaged in a one-on-one skirmish with Lazo.

"After we took a couple of shots, Cameron just ran at me," Lazo tells Us Weekly. "She tried to take me down. Then she took my camera."

While Diaz and Lazo were sorting out their issues, Gonzalez says in Us that Timberlake tried to block him from taking pictures. Later, Gonzalez alleges in the magazine, the star slapped Lazo on the head.

According to police, the criminal complaint naming Diaz and Timberlake was filed by Lazo.

Diaz and Timberlake, meanwhile, have a different take on the story behind the pictures.

In a joint statement from their representatives said the couple were "ambushed by two men who jumped out of a concealed hiding place on a dark, deserted street late at night. Any actions by Diaz and Timberlake were merely taken in self-defence," the statement said.

i think their take on it is ridiculous, if you were attacked by two men why would you take their camera??

After allegedly being attacked by Cameron Diaz, 32, and Justin Timberlake, 23, outside of L.A.'s trendy Chateau Marmont on Nov. 6, two paparazzi, who were on assignment for a teen fanzine, have hit back with a lawsuit.

In court papers filed Nov. 12, photographers Saul Lazo, 21, and Jose Gonzalez, 32, of Fame Pictures, claim, among other things, that an expletive-screaming Diaz attacked one of them, stole his camera and left him "on the ground bleeding." They claim Timberlake said, "I will kick your [bleep]!"

Reps for the stars said Diaz and Timberlake "were ambushed" and that their actions were in "self-defense" to the "unprovoked and assaultive conduct of the two men."

A source close to the case told Star that Cameron, who later turned in the camera to the L.A. police, said she was scared and that she panicked -- thinking they might mug or assault her. Our source added that Cameron "might file a countersuit."

Rumored to be on the outs just months ago, Cameron Diaz and Justin Timberlake have reached a new level of celebrity togetherness: They're both under investigation for pouncing on a paparazzo.

Police are looking into a complaint filed last Saturday by a photographer who accuses Diaz and Timberlake of grand theft and battery, Officer Eduardo Funes of the Los Angeles Police Department said Wednesday.

"A crime report was taken," Funes said. "An investigation is under way."

While police were tightlipped on specifics, the Nov. 22 edition of Us Weekly is not. The new issue, due out this week, features six shots purchased from shutterbug Saul Lazo and Jose Gonzalez's photo agency of their evening with Diaz and Timberlake outside Hollywood's legendary Chateau Marmont hotel.

The pictures range from Diaz and Timberlake (wearing a sweatshirt bearing the stenciled imprint, "criminal") in smiling, hand-holding mode, to Diaz engaged in a one-on-one skirmish with Lazo.

Diaz's swipe of Lazo's camera was described as evidence gathering by the Charlie's Angels detective--a move undertaken "in order to be able to identify the individuals who jumped out at [Diaz and Timberlake]."

The grand-theft accusation, a possible felony charge, is believed to concern Lazo's camera. Per Diaz and Timberlake, the camera is now with police.

Diaz, 32, and Timberlake, 23, have dated for more than a year, their A-list coupling inspiring celebrity photographers to expend much film.

Even before the recent paparazzi dustup, the pairing had not been picture perfect. Last summer, Timberlake sued a British tabloid that claimed he'd stepped out on Diaz with a model. (Diaz, meanwhile, was waging her own legal battle against a photographer who had snapped topless shots of her in her pre-Mask days.)

More stories of discontent surfaced in September, around the time of Timberlake ex Britney Spears' wedding ceremony. Reports had the former 'N Sync singer out and about in Los Angeles in the company of a woman other than the brand-name actress.

But last month the couple turned up as a couple at a DVD release party in Hollywood.

they all seem to say that miss diaz hit them and they have pictures to prove it...so i hope miss diaz and mr timberlake get a huge ass lawsuit
