Anyone watch these shows? (Buffy in reruns count)
I'm obsessive about them, but anyone here watch them? |

I liked Buffy, but I also liked Angel since it was a much darker show. Buffy was always a light-hearted show in the end. (Once More with Feeling, Fear, Itself...) Buffy always taught lessons... Angel... doesn't.
I really liked the high school years of Buffy, just because they were happy and stuff! Kinda like that one quote from Lie to Me: Buffy: "Does it ever get easy?" Giles: "You mean life?" Buffy: "Yeah. Does it get easy?" Giles: "What do you want me to say?" Buffy: "Lie to me." Giles: "Yes, it's terribly simple. The good guys are always stalwart and true, the bad guys are easily distinguished by their pointy horns or black hats, and, uh, we always defeat them and save the day. No one ever dies, and everybody lives happily ever after." Buffy: "Liar." But, by the end of Season Five with Buffy dying the show had gotten pretty dark. But, still Angel was way darker. I always thought it was good that Joss put Faith on to Angel, since Faith is a too dark of a character for Buffy. **I live for Buffy and Angel re-runs!*** |
