Ok, since a lot of people are making such a big deal about others being shallow, I just wanted to say this.

I'm sorry, but everybody is shallow, no matter how many times they deny it. It's true that some of us judge others more on looks than others do, but in the end, people are simply attracted to what they consider "beautiful." People claim that they "only go for personality," but how can you tell a person's personality by simply looking at them? And even if you talk to them first, you are more likely to want to know the personality of the more attractive person. It's human nature to be attracted to beauty, and even if you try not to actively express your shallowness, people simply are. For example, every day you look at people and make a judgement on them based on their apperance; clothes, hairstyle, etc. If the person you see is well-dressed and well-groomed, you are more likely to view them positively as opposed to an unkempt person.

Yea, this doesn't excuse shallowness in any way, but I just wanted to say what I think. ^_^

yeah, it's true..some people have more of a shallow taste or personality or whatever than others..and it actually isn't a good thing at times, but that's just the way it is.
