Help slicing a blogger layout in photoshop Options

Help lol, i am trying to slice this layout i made for my blogger, the layout will be used for an off blogger site, like a domain, i was wondering if anyone had any experince with slicing an image in photoshop because i do not own dreamweaver. thanks

Okay first off, you can crop off that whole big green space unneeded at the bottom of your image. It just takes up space and you don't even need it. Go to Image > Canvas Size and you'll see this thing with 9 arrows. Click the arrow on the top row, in the middle column. Then change the pixels for the height.. Okay, after removing the unneeded space..

Slice slice slice. Use the slice tool. Slice the image..

Then switch to ImageReady. You go do that by clicking the button that's on the VERY bottom of your tool bar. It's a picture of the Photoshop icon with an arrow pointing to the ImageReady icon. Take note that if you have Photoshop, it comes with ImageReady.

After going to ImageReady.. you'll have your slices. And if you have Photoshop and ImageReady CS, then you should be able to change the optimization of the image by Window > Optimized.. I suggest you save the format as a .gif... No transparency. Okay after that, all you need to do is go to File > Save Optimized As... A window should pop and go change the "Save Type As" to HTML AND IMAGES. And then your done. Just find the folder where you saved the files as, and in that folder, you should see another folder with your sliced images and an HTML document that has the html to put your sliced images correctly in place.
