guy trouble, what else?, i just need some advice .. Options

ok i started out writing this humongous story but then i accidently clicked on something and when i clicked the back button everything was gone so i'll just make it short this time .. ..i've liked this guy for about 2 years now and we used to like each other but then he stopped liking me for a certain reason that i'm not telling y'all 'cause it'll take even longer to write all of this ..well anyways ..i've been talking to him on aim again just recently and i think he likes me but should i tell him i like him? i think he knows already though 'cause his best friend asked me if i like him and i said "yeah ..i guess .." and his best friend tells him pretty much everything or so my friend, who knows them, tells me ..ok, we've only been talking for more than a week now i'm pretty sure it would seem like i'm taking things too fast but for god sakes! i've known this guy for almost 2 years now but of course he doesn't know that, all he knows is that we used to talk last year and that's it well he does show some interest in me though ..at least my friend, who is practically his sister, says so. also, i want to ask him if he likes me but i don't want to get my hopes too high and if he does say yes, he might not like me later and i don't want to get my heart broken all over again ..

btw, i've only talked to this guy on aim recently but before i've talked to him in person only once and before you jump to conclusions, no this isn't some stranger i met off the internet, if you even bothered reading what i wrote then you would know ..

and if you don't under what i'm talking up there, i'm saying that i met this guy through my friend and not off the internet although that's how we talk to each other, ok?

well that's my story ..sorry if it sounds so typical or something but this is not and i repeat not just a simple crush kind of thing, i have deep and strong feelings for him and don't say i'll get over him eventually because i wont, i've tried ..

it's really too bad you don't get to see him more often, because you might think him too highly, because you don't know what he's really like. You only know the "online him" which could be completely different from what he's really like personally. I know I'm practically two different people online and offline, and I think you should get to know him more personally before you do anything else. If I just read what you wrote wrong, and you do know him personally, then you can forget what i said, and see if this love is worth breaking your heart over.
