i just started using tampons because my friends say that it is a lot more sanitary than pads and more comfortable. so last month wen i had my period i used tampons and it was fine ...
but after my period was over and the tampons were gone, my vagina area was red and sore. it hurt too. after a week it went away...but i was just wondering if this occurred because it was my first time using tampons, or something else? please tell me what u think, and if u've experienced the same thing...because i want to discontinue my use of tampons if this symptom is not normal

Maybe you are allergic to the cotton, or fiber that is in the tampon...
either that or try smaller tampons.. |
