I would've said 'my life in general'...but, well, in general, I'm okay with it, sometimes.
If I had to choose between parents and schoolwork, though, it'd be schoolwork. From parents, I've got the sort of stress that can't be solved. I can deal with that, because I know there's not much I can do. From schoolwork, you know that it's entirely your fault--procrastination, not thinking clearly, forgetting something, etc. You know that you can make it work out (how do other people do it then?), even though some teachers don't deserve to teach at all. (A pregnant teacher shouldn't blame her mistakes on tests and losing quizzes on her unborn baby! It's ridiculous! Go on a maternity leave, get us a sub, and we'll all be better off!) I'm in IB (international baccalau--however you spell it!)...well, pre-IB, since I'm a sophomore. And what I absolutely hate about this program is their attitude--"you're honors students!} or "you're IB students! You should be able to do this mountain of homework!" Er..just because we decide to challenge ourselves with honors/AP/IB classes, doesn't mean our days are suddenly 30 hours long...we still need sleep! Yeah...we could do with less stress from school. |
