I think what he meant to say is not tragic, but... heartwrenching perhaps?
And I agree with mostly everyone else. All death is tragic and heartwrenching but I'd have to say that the SE Asia disaster pretty much tops it. Sure, the troops dying in Iraq deserve a mention, but its war out there and people die in wars. A natural disaster is uncalled for and unexpected. So my heart goes out to them and all those affected by it. ![]() ![]() |
