I live in Texas. What about you?
I'm a Sophomore. Next year, I'll be in senior high. Practices will be after school (4:30 to 6:30, but they nearly always go to 7, at least). Our band (9-10) and senior high band (11-12) combines to play one piece during the half time show of the senior high game every year. Last year (when I was a freshie..my first time marching), that combined band was the biggest in all of Texas. 200 people in my school alone...200 or 250 in the senior high...a LOT of band nerds, lol I've been in the lowest band for three years...7th, 8th, and 9th. But this year, I somehow made the highest band. Yeah, that came as a big shock to me...I cried. LoL....my non-band friends thought I was crazy. I'm glad I made someone's day! I love meeting band nerds. |
