this is an anthem that i wrote about my way of life and how it's not like anything anyone could ever imagine.
THE COUNTER COUNTER CULTURE I’m not a hippie… I’m not a jock… I’m not a prep… I’m not a goth… I don’t wear a badge… I think for myself… I am a rebel… Of those who rebel I distance myself For generations I took the gap Made it a canyon I don’t wear collared shirts… I don’t play ball… I do not smoke… I hate alcohol… I will graduate… I’m registered to vote… my only victims… Are in songs I wrote I live my life Dedicated to being pure I am the counter counter culture! Can see the problem And look for an answer I am the counter counter culture! f**k the nuclear family! And f**k generation X… Girls are for love! Not a creature merely made to have sex! My way of life! Is not a trend! I take this with me To the bitter end! I live my life Dedicated to being pure I am the counter counter culture! Take everything You see in teens Turn it up-side-down And you’ll see me Anti-fascist Anti-bling bling Anti-racist Anti-everything I am not Your average kid I made my superego Destroy my id Mind over matter Mind over my d!ck Mind over society THAT MAKES ME SICK!
