Anyone seen Vertu phones? I highly doubt anyone has one, but they seem gorgeous, with a sapphire screen, enough platinum to make 20 wedding rings, and 74 patents to its name, it's quite the phone, priced up to $20 000.

I see no point in getting a cellphone that simply "looks good" which makes it cost that much. Seriously, IMHO if the cellphone can't walk the walk, or talk the talk then it isn't worth spending money on. $20,000 and I could get a smartphone or a PDA/Cellphone Hybrid, then buy myself a new wardrobe and then a new computer and save for college and buy a car. If you want a sleekphone, get the motorola razr that is one hot phone, and it only costs $500.
Plus most people wouldn't be able to tell that the phone is even made of platinum and as such they wouldn't even care unless you start telling people it cost you $20,000 then you stick it in your pocket and wait about 5 minutes for a pickpocket to come by and steal it. Nice waste of $20,000. |
