Chocolate The rich, intense, sugary rush, You get when eating chocolate. All the caramel-filled sweetness, Swimming in your mouth. The knife slowly prods into the brown mousse cake, All while teasing your tastebuds. So cruelly and mercilessly, All just for chocolate. The truffle box, filles with sweet surprises, Not to be opened till Christmas. You tear off the plastic solely for temptation, Hoarding all the fudge-filled goodness. |
