me and this guy realli like each other, and we want to get together, but the thing is that we're diff. races and mah parents don't like it when i go out with diff. races. i think that its just wrong and i should be able to see who i want to. anyone have advice//suggestions

Wow anyways...I liked the idea of inviting him over to dinner to see how your parents react to him. I cannot believe this crap is still going on. I am mexican american and Im dating a white guy. My parents do not care however my grandparents would like me to date within my mexican race. Thank god they are not my parents.
My parents always told me to date someone not based on their race but on how well they treat you and how well you are compatable. It should not be up to your parents who you can and cannot date. Thats just silly. I say do it anyways. Good luck
