alright my mom hasnt met my boyfriend yet, but she keeps telling me she doesnt want me dating anybody. well i asked him if he'd meet her & he said he would. but when i told my mom this, all she said was that i was never gonna see him again. now, everytime i go out she needs to know whos gonna be there so shes sure im not going anywhere with him. i cant go anywhere alone with him
 what should i do?

parents..., too over protective these days, but yeah, your mom probably has a reason too do what she's doing. don't know. maybe something has happened to her in the past that makes her think that the old days are still the same. vise versa.
tell your mom how you feel about what shes doing to you and how its affecting you. in turns, she might rethink her desicions and so forth |
