People these days seem to against interracial dating, especially between Asians and whites. Is there something wrong with dating someone with a different skin color or ancestry?

Mainly considering I'm the child of a Filipino mother and an American/German father. I'm also dating a white boy. :) Neither of my parents care who I date, as long as they're respectful and all that jazz. Though, my dad seemed quite happy he was white.. Hmm.. Nah, JK. I was more worried that his parents wouldn't like me, because I'm part Asian.. and seeing how they're from the south and I'm a yankee, too.. (See, we all have misperceptions of others..) Luckily, they don't mind.. and frankly, it seems our generations (ehm.. i'm 16) are more tolerant of interracial dating.. (As well as homosexual relationships.. but that's a different subject.) It's just the older more tradtional generations are less tolerant.. they'll come around eventually.. I hope. Let's just put it this way.. In the distant distant future, we'll all be the same color. Just deal with it. I mean, it's going to happen one way or another.. so just give up trying to stop the inneviatble. The sooner, the better, in my opinion.
