do your parents(especially asian parents) open gifts slowly and carefully so they can save the paper for other times. mine do, and i find it extremely annoying
 . they also save the little bags people put gifts in. once, we gave the same bag back to the the person who gave it to us.

i do that sometimes..when i find nice/cool wrapping..especially the foil ones..lol..my mom use to do that..
