do your parents(especially asian parents) open gifts slowly and carefully so they can save the paper for other times. mine do, and i find it extremely annoying
 . they also save the little bags people put gifts in. once, we gave the same bag back to the the person who gave it to us.

my mom just likes to save the bags. she uses them when she gives other ppl gifts.
