This year, Time Magazine has chosen President Bush as "Person of the Year."
Do you feel he deserves that title? Why or why not? Their articles about him pose an excellent argument, but I still would like to hear your opinions. I personally am appalled, but that's just me. Sorry about the big mess-up on the name. it was supposed to be president, not 'persident.' Dang, I've edited this post 4 times in a row! |

I personally think that even though he's the president, he really effed up things in this country. We're hated by the entire world, so his foreign policy is well, really, really crappy. Plus, he friggin' bankrupted the U.S. treasury, and he lied about WMDs in Iraq, so we know that he's only going to war for oil. Oh, and did I mention that he set the record for the highest deficit ever made by a U.S. president???? (It was tough to beat Reagan, but he did it!!) Over $5,000,000,000! Let's also talk about how, according to a Gallup poll, he had a 53% approval rating after the election. That seems pretty good, if you don't mention the fact that's it's the lowest approval rating ever for a U.S. president after an election!
And, yet, he's not willing to admit any of those mistakes. But I'm sure he's a really nice guy! Let's give it to him anyway! ![]() |
