Evanescence, being corrupted Options

So, how is it like when it feels like your favorite band is slowly being corrupted by mainstream?
It feels like crap. I used to listen to Evanescence from a LONG time ago, and now, ever since my immortal, i see it going mainstream, and not only that, the preppy people are crowding to it like glue.
I've also noticed that there is like, what, 5 or 6 Evanescence skins? Quite a bit for just one band.
Eh, also, I HATE, absolutely HATE, how these people that are just approaching their music because of its mainstream factor are like OmGZORsZ I ToTalIYZ LoVeSZ <3333333333333333333333333333333333333333333 TheMSZ.
Yes, that pisses me off so badly, mainly because these people don't know what Evanescence is truly singing about and are just listening to it because its a newer mainstream band. No, I'm not talking about new people that actually understand what their music is about, either.
I see how this can benefit the band and make them more money, but I know that its heart-breaking for many of the old fans to see their favorite music being corrupted.

I don't know what you meant by mainstream, but if you meant like people listen to it cause of the beat of the song? well if you meant that way---I think that's dope? I mean her lyrics has so many meanings but not many people are listening to her words, they're just listening to the beat??? eh i don't know if I'm saying this right but yeah...
