shallow people, i need to get this feeling off my mind Options

so lately, like the several weeks. i been noticing. almost everyone is shallow these days. i admit myself i am shallow a bit. but i try hard now to stop judging peopel by the way they look. everywhere i go, i hear "damn he/she is ugly". most of the time i get pretty mad, and say stfu u damn shallow ass. why is people so damn shallow. i know people go out with others beacuse of their looks, but why judge someone beacuse of the way they look. personality is the most important quality in a person, not looks. i see myself alone in this world. i feel shitty about this. anyone here feels the same way i do?

^ Just because your friend doesn't go out with an extremely gorgeous girl doesn't mean he's not shallow at all. Hey, maybe he likes girls for their looks, but only dates ones that are really pretty, but not to the point where they are extremely gorgeous. I think everyone's shallow, in a way.

But even so, I believe that there are people, although rare, who aren't shallow. I try to look past looks as well, since I'm not much of a looker myself anyway. I agree, the majority of the people are shallow, they can't help it. Most of us, if not all, are attracted to others mainly because we notice their looks first. There's been times where i've liked guys who others might not think are cute in any way, but their kindess and personality shine through.

But I've noticed that most of the "hunks" are usually taken or they are only into their looks and have a bad personality, so I'd rather not consider ever like-liking them. I might think they're cute, but I wouldn't ever consider liking them because all the ones that were "hot" were very superficial and were too into their own looks that they lacked in other good qualities.

But I've been able to look past shallowness... I'm not a gorgeous person or anything, and I like people for more than just looks, in fact, I know that those who are really "hot" are mostly shallow. Notice how I said mostly, not all. We can't help being shallow. If everyone was blind, then maybe, JUST MAYBE, we wouldn't be shallow.
