so lately, like the several weeks. i been noticing. almost everyone is shallow these days. i admit myself i am shallow a bit. but i try hard now to stop judging peopel by the way they look. everywhere i go, i hear "damn he/she is ugly". most of the time i get pretty mad, and say stfu u damn shallow ass. why is people so damn shallow. i know people go out with others beacuse of their looks, but why judge someone beacuse of the way they look. personality is the most important quality in a person, not looks. i see myself alone in this world. i feel shitty about this. anyone here feels the same way i do?

Actually, I know there are people who are not shallow but it's because the majority of us are, we overlook them. Those who have been in a situation that must face shallowness from others tend to deviate from that kind of attitude because they know it can be hurtful.
Also, it depends on what kind of shallow. As in, there's shallowness in wanting a brand new sports car instead of a humble want of car that runs great. That kind of shallowness--wanting a car that's better than other people's--isn't all that problematic. Then there is the kind of cruel shallow that demeans what other people possess. |
