Ok. So. Did you ever like someone so much, but when you tell them, they say that they only want to be friends or something along those lines? But then, when you think about it, you don't want to be their friend? ermm.gif weird that's how i feel now.

I remember I told a guy that I liked him (in a letter) lol back in 7th grade.. and you know what? he did just wnat to be friends with me. I'm sorta glad I didn't ever date him because no offense, but he wasn't worth it. He wasn't the type of guy I thought he was, and I'm glad I never ever dated him. And yea in the end, we were friends then he started talking smack and yea.. I realized.. good thing I never dated him..

I conclude that things happen for a reason.. that the although rejection might hurt (the whole "let's just be friends" ordeal), maybe it means that that guy/girl wasn't right for you, probably not worth your time of ever consider dating.

And often, the "just want to be friends" phrase is another way of saying "Yea, I don't like you. I don't want to date you because I don't like you. But I don't want you to hate me, so I'll tell you that I just want you to be my friend because that's all we'll ever be."
