Note: Disremember and Obscura aren't exactly real words, but you'll know what they mean.
Of Memories Obscura By: Savannah Harrison Screaming silence, Bitter knife. Bleeding wounds, And abandoned strife. Crying children, In the night. Consuming emotion, A world without light. Like memories obscura, Of memories that die. Withered anger, A distant lie. Sidewalks to nowhere, Empty time. Words in blood and mud, Spelling love is just a crime. Like memories obscura, Repeating songs inside my head. Like memories obscura, Wishing away the dead. Beating and bleeding, But broken, dying heart. Cast away the barriers, That now keep us apart. Memories you hide away, Hidden in the rain. Memories you hide away, That once drove you insane. You forgot me, Saying it saved you. I never forgot you, But it would save me too. Leave behind the part of me that’s you, Hide away the part of me that’s true. Disappear behind the shadows, Forget the things we used to do. Of memories obscura, That’s all you ever wanted. Of memories obscura, Disremember the ones you taunted. Memories will die, So I choose to quit before I start, Memories will die, So I’m afraid we have to part. |
