I was just browsing through Peta 2 and I found this video on factory farms...before, I was completely clueless to where my meat came from...ignorant, I know...
Ever since I saw this, I went vegetarian. I know I might sound like a silly little girl who'll give up vegetarianism after a week or two, but I really felt bad for what went on in these farms and I hope that I can keep up vegetarianism... Are any of you in here vegetarian or vegan? Please take a look at this depressing clip...please consider it... The Cruelty of Animal Farms It may take a while to load on older computers, but it's worth it, in my opinion... |

QUOTE(ApocalypseAelis @ Dec 20 2004, 4:47 PM) The reason PETA gave out the leaflets is to influence the little kids to try and get their parents to stop wearing fur coats, which explains the picture. They can always choose less horific ways to spread the word to children than showing them pictures of dead animals. Children have fragile minds and who knows what kind of effect these types of pictures will have on them. I know if I was 5 or 6 and was handed one of these comics I would be tramitized. |
