i was over at my boyfriend's house the other day and he told me that he loved me. we're only 14 and we've only been going out for like a month. but he told me that he'd loved me for a while. i told him that i liked him a lot but wasn't ready to use those words. was that a smart move? i mean i really do like him but we're only 14 and to me those words are like really special...ya know what i mean. i just...i'm not sure if what i said could have hurt him or not. do you think what i said was right?

most of you are saying i did the right thing. which makes me feel better but i talked to one of my friends who told me this "if you can explain love your not in it" so i was wondering...if 14 is to young to be in love? when is?
