I was just browsing through Peta 2 and I found this video on factory farms...before, I was completely clueless to where my meat came from...ignorant, I know...
Ever since I saw this, I went vegetarian. I know I might sound like a silly little girl who'll give up vegetarianism after a week or two, but I really felt bad for what went on in these farms and I hope that I can keep up vegetarianism... Are any of you in here vegetarian or vegan? Please take a look at this depressing clip...please consider it... My parents are vegetarian for religious purposes. I am required to go 4 days a month without meat by religion. I couldn't see the video, but did you think that the way we get our meat was pleasant in the first place? Did you think they gave the animals pain relievers, or some kind of anisthetic(sp?)? No. We have no disregard for animals. All that matters is that we have meat. Think about it.
