I was just browsing through Peta 2 and I found this video on factory farms...before, I was completely clueless to where my meat came from...ignorant, I know...
Ever since I saw this, I went vegetarian. I know I might sound like a silly little girl who'll give up vegetarianism after a week or two, but I really felt bad for what went on in these farms and I hope that I can keep up vegetarianism... Are any of you in here vegetarian or vegan? Please take a look at this depressing clip...please consider it... The Cruelty of Animal Farms It may take a while to load on older computers, but it's worth it, in my opinion... |

QUOTE(acidophilus @ Dec 17 2004, 10:48 PM) Those are jus thte horrible, worst farms, that DO get shut down. Remember a little thing called "Animal Cruelty?" Yeah, it's a law, folks. Stop being so gullible. I agree that it is one of the worst farms, but it's still happening. Fur farms are perfect examples of animal cruelty, but they're not getting shut down, are they? At least not most of them. And the animal farm didn't get shut down. It's still going on, although thankfully, PETA is trying to stop it... Get your facts straight before making assumptions. |
