1'm 16, he's 20, met online, should i meet him in person? Options

Hey! Ok, well, here's the situation. I met this guy online a while back...like a year ago when I still lived up in a lil city called Rialto I talked to him online a few times, he seems really cool, he's sweet and all that. Well, like 11 months ago, I moved to San Diego (2 hrs away) and I was talking to him the other night online and he asked if we could hang out one of these day, so I was like "Alright, that'll be cool". I gave him my number, and he called me yesterday. He's supposed to call me today and see if we're gonna meet up one of these days. BTW, I'm 16, and he's 20. He's gonna drive 2 hours to get here, and yeah. I've NEVER met a guy in person that I've first met online (outside of school) so yeah. I dunno if I should go through with it. I've talked to a couple of people, they just said not to be alone when I meet him... if I meet him. i dunno, what do you think?

If you truly trust him, then you can go through with it, but bring like a at least 1 girl and 2 guys with you. I mean, not EVERYONE is bad online, but you have to be sure he is the real thing. There are ALOT OF FAKERS online, as you can tell. I am one of them. jk lol

But anyhow, just know what you're getting into. And make sure you're with him when there is daylight in a public place. Everyone's saying to be careful and probably not meet him, but there's a really slim chance he could be a true person. You have hm.. I'd say a 25% chance. I say this because there STILL is a high number of people who are kind and are true about themselves online, but there is STILL alot of FAKERS out there
