I've read a lot about more Asians debuting in America's music. I'm just wondering what you think.
First, there was Utada (she sold an album that was supposed to be released in the US but was released in Japan instead), wit her US debut 2 months ago Exodus. Then there was Jin, first Asian rapper to make mainstream hip-hop. There is also another Asian singer from Hong Kong who will release her single Hypnotic Love in the US around January. She's working wit Jin, I read from here. Her name is Adrienne Lau (Adrienne). Shes actually kinda good. Her site Her site is right there. I know of the Mountian Brothers (3 chinese rappers) from the Northeast area of the US. So what you think? |

it would be very awesome if hyori unie become an american singer...
wait utada didnt sell her albums to america? instead she sell albums to JAPAN?!?! awww what happened to her career in america? anyways back to the topic, i actually love it because in their own country, i dont think they expect to listen to english songs because some doesn't understand the word of english. i mean someday i want to be an american singer, it would be very nice!! i really love it. well it'll be very weird if american singer be a korean singer lol.... kinda weird you know? but korean people being an american singer is lot better than letting american people to become a korean singer LOL... cause korean songs and american songs are not alike. korean has some cute tunes in it and american songs take it seriously and not in a cute way hehe. so yeah hope you know what i mean >.<;; |
