how can i put the list of the people i subscribed to in a-z order? because mine is all messed up

In private mode, click "your subscriptions" -> "edit your subscriptions" -> "general settings", then in "order of subscriptions in module"... choose "Alphabetical". Oh by the way, don't forget to click "save changes" at the bottom of the page when you've finished.
