do you think the jury was right in sentencing scott peterson to death?
this kind of corrolates with capital punishment...but theres also the problem of whether or not he really did do the deed..etc |

I think that it was a fair decision. However, like missmata said, there's lots that comes with these decisions, and often capital punishment is more complicated. And since it's such a delicate subject, it's very hard to put borders on these kinds of things.
Take the Green River murders, for example. He killed 48 women and wasn't executed. Peterson killed 2 people (I mean, that's still a horrible thing) but he gets the death sentence. How is that fair? Just...capital punishment makes things all complicated and confusing. Yes, I sound like an immature girl right now, but I don't really feel like thinking and giving reasons for this. Gawd, the debate section tires me. |
