I don't know if a topic like this has been made yet, but here goes...

So I know a lot of cBers listen to rap. I listen to rap, too. But have you noticed what most of the rappers are doing to rap? They're destroying rap's reputation. They make the people that listen to rap look like sex obssesed "gangtahz". I know there are a lot of rappers out there that make music that is about something meaningful, but the majority are always talking about how they have gatts and hoes and that they're pimps. Maybe we should all write emails to the rappers asking them to write about something else..

Yeah, I do notice that the rap industry is building this sort of sex-obsessed image. There are those who do write meaningful lyrics, but many rappers are ruining their reputation. It really bothers me how some of them act like "fly, ghetto wannabes". That's actually why I don't listen to much rap. I would probably listen to more rap if there were less of those people around.
