help please :D Options

hey people, this is my first time. and i hope it would really help since every post, i realize .. gives GREAT advice.

well this is the problem: i have been going out with a senior last year for about 6 months. during that time, he always told me that he loves me and how i changed his life and how i was the best thing that ever happend in his life. i told him that he lies but then he told me that i would never lie

well at the end, i broke the relationship because i was really stressed out. i just failed math, and got dropped out of IB and honors. you know how it is... and i had summer classes and everything, and me and my best friend were fighting, parent's problem. It was just horrible . even thought My ex... comforted me alot, i still felt that i should really focus on my education, because i am a junior , the most important year of all.

Well when we broke up, i really felt MORE stressed than before and sad too. i couldn't take it anymore so i told him that i had still had feelings for him. he admited to me that he still had feelings for me too. SO IT WAS ALL GOOD.
we started to.. re begin our relationship and buildup. and we kissed and hug. But one day someone saw us, and started to start a rumor on me. They said i was a slut. But i was like.. no, i only kiss him, how can i be a slut. Well My best friend started to Back me up. and things started to get worse. Finally i couldn't take it anymore , so i guess we "broke up" again -_-. but then Months later MAN i still have feelings for him. Its indescribable. My friends says that he still has feelings for me. But then later on, since its close to winter formal, HE asked another girl to winter formal (cindy)... and she said yes . But from i heard... my friend told ,me that cindy always thinks that she's just a replacement for me.

i'm afraid to ask him again. because it was ME who screwed up twice.
the problem: i really want to ask him if he likes me still, and maybe just maybe we can be a couple again...
but i'm scared, to break them up. Maybe cindy is just a replacement? i don't know
what should i do? i really like him

Well, how strong are your feelings for him? Is he more important than your education?
