well i mainly mention about cantonese food , the food in all the cantonese speaking cities like guangzhou, china, hongong, macau here.lol.
cantonese is characterized with various unusual gradients and materials. Apart from seafood and animals, insects and worms, flowers and weeds are all made into dishes. have you heard of fried squid, 1000 year old eggs, shark's fin soup, snake soup, and dog stews. ![]() I am interested in cooking and have collected some recipes .. hope to discuss and share the experience with you all.. |

This topic is like, MADE for me.
Have you had pork intestines in "old water" before? OMG that stuff is like...the uber-good stuff....*drools* This is more of a Taiwanese thing but I love duck tongues too. =)) And isn't fried squid also common in Italy and Greece, known as Calamari? Just wondering. ^^ 1000 year old eggs are gooood, but if I eat too many I feel sick. I'm really weird but I only like the soup part of shark fin's soup. I could care less about the shark fin..XD. I love snake soup too, that's awesome. You know what I also love? Abalone. I love abalone. Right now I can't put English names on all the stuff my mom makes...but I love all of that... Oh god, no wonder I'm a fat ass. ![]() |
