I just moved to South Carolina [a perfect place for a non-religous person to move right? lol] and everyone knows i dont believe in God and they are ALL trying to get me to convert. I get people coming up to me who i have never seen at my school and asking me questions such as... "where do you think we came from" and "who do you think put us here" How do you suggest I get them to stop! They are all so hardheaded and wont accept the fact that there are always going to be people different than them. It is really starting to bug me too!

QUOTE(azn_r4pf4n @ Dec 10 2004, 7:50 PM) *sighs* dont worry manzz... some times christianity is like that. im christian, but we dont force ppl to become christian. God's love isnt forced, so they probably worry about you.. ionoe, but you have a decision on religion. sometimes people don't get it that people have their own opinions. Seriously, I think some Christians get so narrow-minded that they try and convert anyone regardless of what the other person thinks. As a Christian, I talk about God's love, but I don't force it... If people do however...just tell them to respect your opinion~ if they STILL don't, then it's up to you. You choose the path, that's why there's free will. |
