my boyfriend says i'm way to nice and let people talk crap about me and i don't do anything. even my friends can take advantage of this. this may souns stupid, but do you have any ways to make me seem more "meaner" and not so much of a push-over?

Yea, I used to have that problem when I was younger...
Actually, it's fine to be nice as long as you don't let people walk over you. The first step is just to learn how to say "no" when you mean it. If they're really your friends, they should learn to respect you, but you should also respect for yourself. Don't worry about what other people want sometimes, worry about what YOU want and YOUR rights. If you don't want people to walk over you, you need to let them know that it pisses you off. If someone says crap about you- just go straight to their face and be like, "why would you say that. etc etc." Geez... that sounded kinda like a pep talk. -_- |
