what're you talkin' about? Talib Kweli's technically mainstream (though not huge) and he's still rhymin' as conscious as ever... Mos Def made a song dissin' the "machine" on his album (not a MIXTAPE but his ALBUM!)... Pharoahe Monch did the same... Kanye did the same... it happens... even the biggest rapper on the planet rapped ridiculously crazy on his first album... just like he as on his last underground EP (Slim Shady EP)... REALITY CHECK... EMINEM USED SONGS FROM HIS UNDERGROUND EP ON HIS FIRST ALBUM AND STILL SOLD 4 MILLION COPIES....
