Okay just wondering how many of you girls have had an eating disorder in the past. I know it's growing. If you have, What kind was it? How long did it last? I haven't had one before. But I know a lot of friends have had one.

Okay. It's weird..but I had a light case of both anorexia and bullimia.
I became bullimic when I was ten. My mom said I was getting fat, and so I figured," Well, I can still eat and not gain anything!" I was doing that for about two months. Went to the dentist, and got my first cavity. It scared me, because I knew vomit ruined your teeth. So, I stopped. Anorexia started about a year ago. Same problem. I was gaining weight, and soon I wasn't eating. I don't even think I was hungry anymore. And if I wasn't hungry, why would I eat? Then, my boyfriend asked me about a month and a half ago what I had recently ate. I said," Nothing." He asked me then," When was the last time you ate?" I replied," uh...four days?". He was frantic and he started saying," You have to eat, or I'll starve myself too!" So..yeah.. I'm normal now! This post has been edited by WhiteLotus*: Dec 2 2004, 01:47 AM |
