i was over at my boyfriend's house the other day and he told me that he loved me. we're only 14 and we've only been going out for like a month. but he told me that he'd loved me for a while. i told him that i liked him a lot but wasn't ready to use those words. was that a smart move? i mean i really do like him but we're only 14 and to me those words are like really special...ya know what i mean. i just...i'm not sure if what i said could have hurt him or not. do you think what i said was right?

That is so awesome that you said that to him. Most teenagers use those three words so carelessly. I don't think it's possible to be "in love" when you are 14 and you have been dating for only a month. You should express those feelings when you are ready and when that is absolutely how you feel, not just because you say it because your boyfriend did and you feel obligated to.
