okay so I wanted to point this out when november started, but I'll point it out now.
Where I'm from.. right after halloween everything turned into christmas. You see christmas candy, decorations, lights, etc. already coming out. I didn't see crap for thanksgiving. Did anyone else feel like their city neglected november's special holiday? |

My school cares about Thanksgiving.
We do can food drives for homeless shelters. & the weekend before Thanksgiving 8th grade serves Senior Citizens. Everyone in the school makes placemats -- the ones that the little 1st graders do are so cute. :). Hehe, the Senior Luncheon seems pretty cheesy and boring, but hells, sometimes those scary looking old people smelling senior citizens really brighten up your day. Since, most of the seniors that come don't have family, and love to see kids and those little kid placemats. IDK, it's really sad though, because that's all they have for thanksgiving... So yeah. Heh. |
