i was over at my boyfriend's house the other day and he told me that he loved me. we're only 14 and we've only been going out for like a month. but he told me that he'd loved me for a while. i told him that i liked him a lot but wasn't ready to use those words. was that a smart move? i mean i really do like him but we're only 14 and to me those words are like really special...ya know what i mean. i just...i'm not sure if what i said could have hurt him or not. do you think what i said was right?

you did the right thing! ^^ He probably said that to get you into bed! LOL
 anyway, I think at that age, it's too young to use the word "love" because teenage relationships are not eternal (not saying they are not but majority of them don't last 4eva). You need to feel experience it and it will naturally come out to ya. Saying "I Love You" shouldn't have you worrying whether you said the right thing or not.
