Dealing with guys, how to... Options

How do you deal with a guy that doesn't wanna be with you, but doesn't want you to move on either? does that make sense? lemme explain...
So there's this guy.. who.. is a really awesome guy.. how awesome? oh he's got girls lined up for him. Anyway we had at talk.. and well.. He wants to 'wait' to consider 'us' until I'm a little older (cuz he's 2 years older) even though.. the age difference didn't matter 2 years AGO when I was a freshmen and he was a junior going to different schools... confusing? yah so welcome to my world. So I said.. fine.. be that way >< And so now I'm trying to get over him.. cept he's like.. not letting me? He gets way .. "angry" with me when i go talk to some other guys.. or when guys flirt with me.. and definitely when i flirt back. but remember.. he doesn't really want BE with me.. so technically he just wants me to chase him forever until he's "okay" with "us" >< what a jerk huh? well.. i can't just tell him to leave me the F alone because 1. he's my friend and 2. he's my brother's friend too.. and that wouldn't be fair to my brother. I see this guy.. WAY too much.. but h'es fun to hang out with i dont mind.. so how do i deal with this? I dont wanna keep pissing him off, but i dont wanna wait for him ><

hmm. i wouldnt even put up with him. seems like he just wants u to chase after him, and only him. its not fair for u to wait until he's ready. he doesnt have control over u and u shouldnt let him. do what u want, u dont belong to him and vise versa. if he has a problem with u hanging out with other guys, thats his problem that he needs to get over. he's asking u to wait until he's ready? and so what if u meet a guy that u want to start a relationship with? as if ur gona pass up the better guy JUST BECAUSE ur supposed to wait for someone who doesnt measure up to this new guy. he can still b ur friend, but i dont think its right that u have to wait until he's ready.
