Hm,
How old do you have to be to get your permit? To get your liscense? To actually drive people not your family? Over here, you have to go to Driver's Ed, and when you turn 16, you can get your permit. After you have your permit for 6 months, you schedule a road test for your liscense. you have to wait another 6 months to actually drive people that's not your family, but no one even follows that rule  I think every state is different... |

i live in tennessee and here you can get your permit at 15. After 6 months, as long as you're 16, take the road test. (If less than a year has passed between permit &l license...u only take the road test, otherwise, u take the computer test again and the road)
Does that make sense? oh and we have 3 leveles of drivers licenses. one for 16, then 17, then 18. I think you can drive more that family members after you have had your license for 6 months |
